Your choice comes first
Optional analytics is off unless you actively accept it. Rejecting is as easy as accepting. Scrolling, navigating, closing settings or using the website is not consent. You can book, sign in and use necessary services without analytics.
Necessary browser storage
Your secure sign-in session uses first-party browser local storage (clearspace-auth) to keep you signed in. Your cookie choice uses kleenspace_cookie_consent: necessary storage enabled, analytics choice, timestamp and policy version only. We do not put account information or form values into the consent record.
We honour a choice for up to 180 days and ask again when it expires or the consent policy version changes. The preference is kept on your device until replaced or cleared; expiry is checked by the website, not a promise that the browser physically erases local storage at that time. If storage is unavailable or invalid, analytics stays off.
Optional Google Analytics 4
With consent, we load Google's tag for measurement ID G-4LVZ2EGV00. It helps us understand public page visits, service/pricing interest, generic coverage results and booking/enquiry steps. We send only allowlisted public page paths and generic event categories, not query strings, fragments, form contents, full postcodes, contact details, booking references or uploaded documents. Account, authentication, customer, cleaner and administrator routes are excluded.
Google may process cookie/device identifiers, browser/device information, approximate location and network information such as your IP address as part of receiving requests. We do not claim this is anonymous. Google explains that GA4 does not log or store individual IP addresses; network processing still occurs. Do not treat this as no processing of personal information.
Analytics cookies typically include _ga and _ga_4LVZ2EGV00. Our tag configuration requests an expiry of up to 180 days without refreshing it on each event; actual browser controls may shorten this. Advertising storage, advertising personalisation, Google Signals, automatic user-provided data and User-ID are not enabled by this implementation. There is no Google Ads or remarketing integration.
Rejecting and withdrawing
Rejecting does not load the tag. Open Cookie settings to change your choice or withdraw consent. Withdrawal disables collection, expires accessible GA cookies for this site where technically possible and reloads the page to remove Google's code. We cannot remove cookies outside this site's control or undo data already transmitted. An already in-flight request may finish. Use the privacy contact route for questions about data already collected.
Google, retention and transfers
Google processes analytics information as a third party under the applicable Google Analytics arrangements. Google processing may involve locations outside the UK. For information about the applicable provider terms and transfer safeguards, please use the privacy contact details in our privacy notice.
Consent preference duration and cookie lifetime are not the same as Google's analytics event retention, which is controlled separately in our analytics account. Contact us for information about retention or to exercise your data protection rights.
